Scienza

La ricerca scientifica è un elemento essenziale della medicina. Oltre alla ricerca di base, che cerca nuove soluzioni innovative, per i pazienti è importante principalmente anche la ricerca clinica applicata. I risultati dei trattamenti vengono documentati e valutati sulla base di questionari di valutazione standard, consentendo quindi un importante confronto in ambito internazionale. I risultati degli studi e gli esiti dei progetti di ricerca del team di medici specialisti vengono presentati e discussi nei congressi internazionali. Con più di 800 pubblicazioni scientifiche e relazioni, il team intrattiene un fervido scambio di informazioni con specialisti internazionali.

Un istituto fondato espressamente sull’UMIT, la “Unità di ricerca per la medicina dello sport dell’apparato motorio e la prevenzione degli infortuni”, sottolinea ancora una volta l’orientamento scientifico dei medici specialistici, con numerosi corsi di base e di formazione continua.

I propri strumenti operativi sono stati già sviluppati, altrettanto un metodo operativo che da allora è stato ampiamente riconosciuto e applicato su scala internazionale.

Lo scopo primario del centro Gelenkpunkt consiste nel creare e nel perfezionare una rete internazionale molto estesa di ricerca e documentazione.

Studi attuali 

Prevenzione degli infortuni nel calcio tirolese

A partire dall’autunno 2015 verranno registrati i dati di tutti gli infortuni nel calcio tirolese. Il progetto ha inizio con le prime squadre del campionato tirolese, del campionato regionale Ovest e del Primo Campionato Sky Go, in seguito è prevista un’estensione a tutte le società dalla Federazione Calcio Tirolese. L’obiettivo consiste nel creare una banca dati per individuare i più frequenti infortuni e i modelli di infortuni, al fine di poter poi implementare misure atte a prevenirli.

 

Registro dei pazienti

A livello scientifico in ambito internazionale viene raccolta anche la documentazione dei pazienti interni, con un cosiddetto registro dei pazienti, che con l’aiuto di questionari standard consente un controllo oggettivo nel follow up dei pazienti.


Formazione continua 

La formazione di base e la formazione continua di assistenti, studenti, fisioterapisti, medici e pazienti richiede una costante analisi critica del proprio operato e dei trattamenti. Avendo a che fare con diversi gruppi target viene anche chiesto continuamente di allargare il proprio campo visivo e di prepararsi alle novità.
