As a native of Munich, he began his residency at the “Klinikum rechts der Isar” hospital at the Technical University of Munich and continued at the BG Unfallklinik Murnau. After a one-year fellowship at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado (USA) he completed his training at the University Medical Centre Freiburg. From 2010 to 2017, he worked as a senior physician or senior consultant in sports orthopedics at the “Klinikum rechts der Isar” hospital at the Technical University of Munich. His clinical specialties include arthroscopic and open shoulder surgery, shoulder arthroplasty, general sports orthopedics and sports traumatology.
