We use digital x-ray and ultrasound in our rooms as well as CT scans and MRI\u2018s<\/strong> which are available seven days a week for an exact evaluation of your condition.\u00a0Thorough clinical examination combined with exact and fast imaging speeds up the diagnostic process<\/strong>. Outpatient shockwave therapy for the treatment of chronic tendon and muscle pain<\/h3>

We offer high energy focused<\/strong> and radial shockwave treatment<\/strong> in our outpatients rooms. The most common indications are tendon pain at the knee, tendon pain at the Achilles and the plantar fascia, as well as pain at the elbow, also called tennis and golfers\u2019 elbow<\/a>.<\/p>

AlterG partial weight-bearing treadmill<\/h3>

The AlterG is a computer controlled treadmill<\/strong> which has the option to reduce the body weight and therefore reduce the mechanical joint<\/strong> and limb load for the lower extremity.\u00a0It is applied in the post operative or post injury course of a lot of lower extremity injuries and operations.\u00a0The goal of a symmetric gait can be achieved faster and more reliable<\/strong> than with underwater or conventional gait training.<\/p>

Furthermore a lot of athletes use it for training in periods of reduced load for the leg e.g. Achilles tendon problems muscle problems, shinsplints etc. it is possible to maintain athletic running fitness without overloading the tendon and creating a pain problem.<\/p>

Back in action fitness test after anterior cruciate ligament injury<\/h3>

In a team effort the doctors of Gelenkpunkt as well as the physiotherapists and sports scientists of Sporttherapie Huber-Mair has developed a test battery<\/strong> comprising of eight single tests<\/strong> to evaluate the rehabilitation course after knee injury.\u00a0The results of these tests allow for staged return to sport in a safe and controlled manner.<\/strong><\/p>
